Harold Hodder Named Vice President

Harold comes to TRC with solid experience in the third-party registration industry; previously working for a global registrar as an Auditor, District Manager and as Manager of Marketing and Sales. Harold has also served as a member of International Standards Organization TC 176, the group responsible for developing and publishing standards such as ISO 9001:2000.

Harold previously held the position of Executive Director of the IAOB (International Automotive Oversight Bureau) in Southfield, Michigan. He actively worked with the Global Big 8 automotive OEMs – Ford, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, VW, BMW, Fiat Auto, PSA and Renault – to develop the original third-party registration scheme for ISO/TS 16949 (TS2). He continued to work on the development of the 2002 version of TS2 and the rules that govern the registration scheme.

For almost 20 years Harold’s experience covers a wide variety of manufacturing sectors, including the automotive, aerospace and chemical industries. With that experience, he brings to TRC an understanding of the challenges facing organizations seeking to implement and register their management systems. “I am delighted to have joined TRC, a growing, professional certification body,” said Harold, “and I look forward to working with our customers to enhance their quality management systems.”
